Club de Golf Guadalmina

The Club de Golf Guadalmina consists of 2 courses with 18 holes (north and south course) as well as a short 9 hole Par 3 course. The south course was designed in the year 1959 by Javier Arana. It concerns one of the oldest and most traditional courses on the Costa del Sol with an overall length of 6,021 meters, Par 72. A pretty course, particularly worth mentioning is hole 11, because it is directly next to the sea. The course is well-known for its hardness and difficulty, wide fairways and without water. The faiways of the south course run between a wonderful Mediterranean forest, in which cypresses live together with hundred-year olive trees, and in which different plants and oleander bring in some color. The north course was designed 1971 by Falco Nardi and was equipped a 5,825 to meter long course, to a large extent broad roads, a somewhat hillier landscape, than at the south course, and with more water obstacles. Particularly remarkable are the two final holes 9 and 18, which divide a large lake, which in numerous opportunities had already shown the spetacle of two 30 meters high geysire. Then a curtain of water rises before the green of the roads of the golf course.
