In the mountains above BenahavÃs La Zagaleta is situated in the middle in the golfers paradise of the Costa del Sol. The complex extends over 1.000 hectares in the midst of a protected area and impresses by its various biota. The club, which is strictly private, i.e. only members and their guests permit, was designed by Bradford Benz from California. Apart from the installations usual for the golf La Zagaleta has a hunting ground, a helicopter landing pad, riding center and a palace-like club house, which was once the home of the Saudi Arabian Financiers Kashogui. With its fantastic views over the mountains from BenahavÃs to Gibraltar La Zagaleta is probably one of the most beautiful golf courses at the sun coast. Thus La Zagaleta is probably the dream of each golf player.
